Maureen Drdak presented on her Fulbright work at the University of Colorado, for the American Nepal Himalayan Studies at Boulder on Sunday September 3rd 2017. The panel, entitled, "Consuming Shangrila: Identity Politics and Contemporary Himalayan Art" was convened by Elena Pakhoutova, curator, Rubin Museum of Art, NYC. Presenters included Youdhi Maharjan, Seraphin Gallery, Philadelphia, as well as artists Ang Tsherin Sherpa (Rossi and Rossi, London, NYC) and Tenzin Ringdol. Download the conference schedule HERE.
